The Iris Ceramica Group aims to ensure the progress and advancement of its community of employees and their families through corporate welfare activities in line with its sustainability strategy and long-term objectives.
We enhance people's lives by applying a welfare paradigm that develops active and responsible employees, establishing a relationship of collaboration and mutual help.
We establish an alliance with our employees that strengthens their sense of loyalty towards the Group and increases productivity by constantly improving us as a Group, as professionals, and as people. At once a challenge and an opportunity, above all from the company’s strategic perspective, in terms of innovation and creation of value both within its organization and in the community in which it operates, with that consequences cascade down to society as a whole.

As of March 2020, however, a whole series of activities, including the Family Days initiative and face-to-face training, have been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Where possible, most of the activities, including some training sessions, were moved online to adapt to a new way of working that allowed people to work from home.

In order to assess and improve the company welfare plan, in November 2020, the Iris Ceramica Group distributed a questionnaire to all its employees for them to highlight areas in which new initiatives and projects can be promoted. Top of the list of requirements highlighted in the results were initiatives to protect the health of employees and their families, followed by educational support and cultural education activities to take part in even during free time.

In summary, during the past year we managed to take some targeted actions by granting 21 school bonuses, 8 scholarships and 1 study vacation to the children of our employees.
