In order to keep working environments healthy, the dust generated by processing is aspirated and passed through fabric bag filters that filter the air, trapping almost all dust content. The limited quantity that passes through the filters is monitored periodically to ensure that filter efficiency is maintained. The following table presents the emission factors for these pollutants.

As regards emissions, the total CO2 saved between 2019 and 2021 across the Group as a whole (including abroad) was 44.773 tons of CO2, mainly due to electricity being purchased from virtuous producers with emissions/kWh generated below the relevant national average. In 2021 in particular, the % of certified green electricity used by Granitifiandre spa in 2021 was 59.6% of its total annual requirement.
The 2016 UNFCCC = revised calculation for EU ETS declaration national standard parameters table was used to calculate the combustion. Natural gas consumption x the emission factor were taken as a reference. For the process, we present the revised calculation for the EU ETS declaration for fired mixes, calculated on the percentage of coal mixes per ton of fired mixes. The calculation was performed on a square meter of finished material. The GHG emission types included in the emissions ratio are direct (scope 1) and indirect (scope 2). The gas included in the calculation is CO2.
